When I list an item it says 'Invalid Character'. Why?
This means that you are using a character that Bigwardrobe.com can not process. Try removing any special characters
like _ or -.
I'm having difficulty uploading my photographs. Is there a maximum file size or a preferred image type (e.g. Jpeg)?
Yes, the max file size is 4mb and the file type required is .jpg or .jpeg.
I'm waiting for my uploaded item(s) to be approved. How long does it take?
Newly listed items can take up to 24 hours to appear online. This is to protect our members and stops inappropriate
material being uploaded.
Will I be notified if my item is rejected?
Yes. If your item is rejected we'll tell you.
How long will my item(s) remain listed for?
Indefinitely i.e. until traded or removed by you.
Does it cost to list an item?
No, it's 100% free. You can list as many items as you want for free.

When I make an offer do I add postage to my offer price, or do I just make the offer without the postage and it's included later in the payment process?
Yes, it's added automatically later by Bigwardrobe.com when the item is paid for.
Does the seller pay P&P, or does the buyer pay it?
The person buying the item(s) pays P&P.

When I ask a member a question about an item, how do I see their reply?
All replies are sent directly to your personal Bigwardrobe inbox.
An item which I offered on has disappeared from the other member’s wardrobe. Does this just mean I lost out to a

Yes. Or the member has manually de-listed/removed the item.

I already have a PayPal account that I use for eBay. Can I use it for Bigwardrobe.com too?
Yes, it's exactly the same.
How do I link my PayPal account to my Bigwardrobe.com account?
When you list an item it prompts you to enter your PayPal details. Bigwardrobe.com does the rest.
What methods of payment can I use to pay another member?
This depends on the other member and the options they selected when listing their item(s). The available options are
Cheque, PayPal and Other. We always suggest using PayPal i.e. where another member accepts this form of payment.
I've sold an item to another member and they’ve paid me via PayPal. How do I transfer this money to my bank
account?
Log in to PayPal and follow their simpler instructions re: 'Withdrawing Funds'.
What are the charges for selling on Bigwardrobe.com?
To sell an item you must be a Friend of Bigwardrobe. This costs just £1 per month.
